Luri rugs are woven by the Lurs, another nomadic tribe in Southwestern Iran, much like the Qashqai. Their weaving quality is incredible, and shows in the intricate designs they are able to achieve working with the characteristic thick pile of the region. They feature intricate and distinct borders, and often intricate figures and decoration adorning a lighter open field in the middle. Like their neighbors, they weave using the highest quality wool and all natural dyes. The rugs are distinctly elegant while still showing their tribal roots.
