Kashkuli Rugs are finely knotted with hand spun wool & natural dyes. Their patterns are inspired by the Qashqai people of the Zagros mountains in Southwestern Iran. Perhaps the most well known and loved designs from Iran, they have inspired beautiful weavings worldwide. The patterns are usually simple, with geometric blocks of color, sometimes with small animal figures and accents. Though tribal, the designs often invoke a contemporary feel and make a stunning visual impact in any home.
