Cleaning products are not safe to use on hand-made rugs. Most cleaning products are for synthetic carpets and will lead to bleaching and damage to the natural fibers.

There may be a stubborn stain that won’t come out, or perhaps your rug has been used for years and it just needs a good cleaning. This would be a great time to give us a call and schedule a professional cleaning!

If your rug is in direct sunlight, you can anticipate some fading. If you do have direct sunlight, it’s important to routinely rotate your rug to give it a lasting and even appearance. Alternatively, you may consider sun protection coating for your homes windows.

Use your vacuum on the lowest setting, preferable the hard-wood floor setting to avoid using the bristles of your vacuum.

Shedding is oftentimes normal, especially if you just purchased your rug. The shedding of a new rug should stop after a light vacuuming or normal wear.

Shipping times vary depending on the availability of a particular rug. But generally, if it's an in stock piece, you will receive your rug within a week to 10 days.

We offer in-home showings and a 48 hour approval process to ensure clients are happy with their purchase.  This largely avoids the need to refund customers, however we offer exchanges of rugs in good condition.  The exchange may require a cleaning fee if the rug has been on the floor for a while. If there is a defect or issue with a purchased rug that we cannot fix, we happily issue a refund.

No, we do not accept return of custom rugs. We feel confident our custom process provides clients with exactly what they envisioned. Of course, if there is a defect or issue with the rug that cannot be addressed, we will happily provide a refund.
